Pricing Analyst
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of the retail energy pricing process.
What are we looking for?
- A basic understanding of the cost structures of deregulated electricity markets. Prior retail energy experience preferred.
- Effective communication between sales and other team members.
- Monitoring of various ISO tariff’s with respect to cost components.
- Collecting, updating and tracking of utility tariff data and rate changes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with ISO and utility contacts.
- Timely processing of pricing requests (matrix, custom and ad-hoc requests).
- Validating, analyzing and modeling of customer usage data to ensure accuracy.
- Daily monitoring of electricity and natural gas markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an energy analysis role.
- Ability to analyze and understand elaborate utility/ISO tariff language and extract relevant data/information.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills, detail oriented and able to produce accurate work products.
